In November, beYoureyeS 「Rope 100」charity race has successfully ended. Meanwhile, we have carried out 5 regular weekend activities, 3 CSR activities, 2 「Fitness 100」 accessible fitness activity; participated in 2 large-scale sport events; co-hosted 1 fellowship activity; set up the 100Days Engagement Program for people with visually impairment; and released a double-quarter summative report.

The 2nd「Rope 100」Relay Challenge went exceptionally well
On October 15th, International White Cane Safety Day, the 2nd「Rope 100」Relay Challenge was officially launched. Due to coronavirus, the event was carried out from offline to online.
During a month, many Lanjingling teams accomplished 100km relay challenge, achieving the fundraising goals as well. Participants had further thinking and feeling of what companionship means through this experience.
The fundraising campaign was initiated on October 15th and lasted until November 15th, 893 participants raised a total of ¥79,759.11 of funds.
There were 15 individual participants, 2 accompaniment teams, and 21 regular teams participating in the race. A total of 205 people participated and raised money, and a total of 16,839.3 kilometers of track was reached.
Following the event, Lanjingling gave out medals, trophies, and souvenirs during regular weekend activities and via express delivery, as a show of congratulations and gratitude to all such support they gave for sports accessibility.
百日计划 100days Engagement
The 100Days Engagement Program is ready to launch
After many years of thought, the 2020 Lanjingling 100Days Engagement Program, with months of preparation and communication, was finally ready to launch. Recruitment posts were released on November 17th, targeting nationwide visually impaired individuals who wanted to improve their working skills and have a more diverse range of career choices.
The program is broadly divided into two sections:
Development Camp: 4 days of intense training in Shanghai starting December 1st. Participants will visit corporations such as Apple and Shanghai Disney Resort to communicate and investigate, helping them to form a 100days goal.
Return to their residence, set up their 100days plan according to their goals. They will be given opportunities of one-to-one skills training, and opportunities of corporate internship or work.
REGULAR WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
The 221st to 225th regular weekend activities were respectively carried out on November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, in Century Park and Minhang Cultural Park.
Specifically, the 222nd regular weekend activity on November 8th was carried out in both Minhang Cultural Park and Century Park, and the other 4 rounds were carried out at a single site.
Yongxing HONG, Weijun JIANG, and Li CHEN, three new visually impaired individuals joined our family. Additionally, 6 guide runners became DaBai——qualified guide runners. They are Xiuli Qin, Jinjin ZHAO, Meishan XU, Xiangpeng KONG, Weijun SHEN, ad Shi YU.
What Xiuli QIN shared after becoming Dabai really demonstrates the delightfulness and unity of our Lanjingling family: every time I come, I laugh die hard. My friends told me, to laugh so joyfully and genuinely, it must have come from the bottom of your heart.
Lanjingling PB Completed the Wuxi Marathon
In the 2020 Wuxi Marathon, two teams of Lanjingling participated in the race, and both completed the race breaking their personal bests. Chenhui LU, under the guidance of Sir YU and Laodie, and Lin SHEN, under the guidance of Jun LUO and XiaoPao, both broke their personal records in that race

Lanjingling shines in the 2020 Shanghai International Marathon, with non-stop footsteps on site and behind the scenes
This year, the visually impaired runners in our Shanghai Marathon teams are Chenhui LU and Lin SHEN, who were as always self-disciplined and have thoroughly prepared for this event. The guide runners in Chenhui’s team are Chenzhuo SHEN, Hongrun YU, and You XU. Ming HU is in Lin SHEN’s team.
Many other Lanjinglings have joined the race too. Uncle Bao participated the race assisting a runner with wheelchair Er Wen, they made great companionship and became the spiritual idols for many runners and spectators.
Those guarding firmly behind the cameras were Lanjingling photographers Jian LU, Gufeng, and Mr. Yan. Anytime anywhere, they were the quiet heroes fulfilling their obligations, overseen by public sight.
Under the spotlights are more and more guide running teams safely finishing the race and gloriously winning medals, but at the backstage where so many kind supporters delivered all their support, hidden from spectators, are the tears and the sweat of those logistics and those guide runners running whether under the intense heat or downpour.
Corporate Social Responsibility Activities
Special activity with ‘Lululemon Running Group’
In the morning of November 7th, Lanjinglings arrived at Pudong Kerry Center to attend an invitational event with Lululemon Run Group
At 7:30am, Lanjingling just finished a refreshing 10km morning jog. Lanjingling members including visually impaired runners Chenhui and Lin SHEN and guide runner Xiaoyan LU, went to Lululemon’s shop at Pudong Kerry Center. They talked about regular weekend activities, about marathon, about how they developed friendship and companionship, and how their mutual support became the source of their courage and collaborative achievements.
Single person can run fast, but groups of people can run for a lasting time. We are just groups of people who, with our mutual love and faith, run along and run forth for a long, long time.
Act accessibility with OnTheList
In the afternoon of November 13th, seven Lanjingling members joined OnTheList in a beYoureyeS charity activity
Around 30 employees of OnTheList participated in this beYoureyeS charity activity. We hope that the influence of accessibility will assimilate into the OnTheList community.
Apple Company Assists the 100Days Engagement Program
During the 225th regular weekend activity on the 29th, an Apple Company special training was carried out in Puxi.
The participants of this activity will quality for the 100 days Engagement Program on December 2nd as Apple corporate volunteers, to assist guide participants with specialized guidance on accessibility.

Morning Newsletter Report Student Representative Social Survey
Student representatives from the Chencai Academy went to beYoureyeS regular weekend activities to conduct social surveys.
With detailed explanations and demonstration from Chenhui LU and Yihong, the 15 students got well equipped with essential knowledge and tangible experiences with regards to accessibility. They learned that, even without vision, they can still be able to perform normal day-to-day tasks.
After the training, the students interviewed some visually impaired runners, guide runners, and organizers. By talking to them, they gained valuable insights into the essence of charity activities, that is, equality, inclusion, and respect.
Lanjingling Co-Hosted Fellowship Event with Shanghai Blind Association
Hosted by Shanghai Blind Association and sponsored by Lanjingling, the ‘Youth Awaits’ fellowship conference was successfully carried out on November 7th and November 8th. Visually impaired youths engaged in games and interactive activities, developing friendship with others.
「Fitness 100」Fitness Project
「Fitness 100」Adaptable Fitness Program Continues
On November 4th and 18th, the 8th and 9th 「Fitness 100」regular activity was successfully carried out under the leadership of Coach Aidon. Fitness lads Tianbao, Hongtao, and Harry already could proficiently finish their fitness routines. We hope that more visually impaired members of Lanjingling would join the program and enjoy accessible fitness.
